Anyone who was an active Paid member as of any time Thursday, August 6, 2009 is eligible for a 3 day extension of Paid time. You can claim this extension anytime from now until 12:01 GMT on September 10th.

The extension isn't automatic so that people who weren't affected can have the option to choose whether or not they want an extension.

I just got hit on the head and recalled that I have not updated this since people stopped clapping and Tinkerbell died... You would not believe the fairy dust I have to clean up.
Apologies to my regular readers! Even the little blue ones!.

I am flat out like a lizard drinking with finding Jesus (after someone told me he was lost),
spending my husband's money, just generally being a biatch to anyone unfortunate to cross my path,
my day pisses me off from dusk to dawn. I am plotting and planning. I wish you could be here to share it.

With great sadness we must report that veteran actor Don S. Davis passed away on June 29, 2008.
He was 65 years old.

Don co-starred on Stargate SG-1 for the show's first seven years, helping to launch the enduring science fiction franchise. Davis played Major General George Hammond, base commander and a father figure to many of the show's characters.

Speaking of Jason, the dreaded one gives what is by far his best performance of
the series in season five’s Broken Ties.
It’s an episode he is extremely proud of, and justifiably so.
We watched the Day One mix the other day and were very, very impressed
- not only with Jason’s tour-de-force, but with Joel Goldsmith’s terrific score.
